Hi my name is Tod Burros. Some of you know me but many of you may not. I have written many things you will read on this website.
I was in Cobu from the beginning of 1984 through the beginning of 1986 but remained totally under the influence of Stewart Traill and Cobu through March 1989 when I attended what was called the grace meeting. After that event my eyes were opened and I started my journey to get free from the grip
I have been glad to call Dave and Cynthia Simmons my friends for over 20 years now. I call them my friends both because it is true but also because it has been so different from any relationship I had in Cobu where we felt we constantly had to point out wrongs in each other and I have been greatly blessed from my first meeting until today by my relationship with them
We call this website free from the grip because we believe the name is accurate. I found Cobu a totally immersive experience that affected all my thinking and so getting free from the grip has been quite important in allowing me to have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is only through the Spirit of God that one is able to be healed and our ministry uses the gifts of the Spirit to bless and strengthen those whom Stewart Traill cursed
